The first layer of oversight on your Chicagoland project is provided by our in-house crew leads. These leads are on-site at all times while our work is underway.
Their main focus is supervising our specialized installation teams. In this role, they do such things as:
- Ensure their crew is ready to work and understands your project’s goals
- Make sure all required materials for the job are on hand
- Set the crew’s agenda and assign their daily tasks
- Ensure the work is being done properly
Our crew leads will also troubleshoot any problems that might arise during the course of your installation.
The Manager Of Your Chicagoland Project
Next in the chain of oversight at Apex is your project manager. This seasoned professional is tasked with overall responsibility for guiding your project.
In this role, they supervise your on-site crew lead. They also serve as your main point of contact and authorized decision-maker.
Overseeing Your Exterior Services Crew Lead
Your manager receives regular updates from your crew lead. These updates keep them thoroughly informed about the current status of your project. In turn, the manager will provide any required feedback or instructions.
In certain situations, your project manager may also be essential to the troubleshooting process. As a rule, this happens when a problem occurs that’s beyond the crew lead’s authority to resolve.
If such an issue arises, the manager will step in and make the call on how to proceed.
Serving As Your Main Point Of Contact
While your crew lead is a convenient on-site resource, your project manager is your main customer contact. If you ever have a question or concern, they’re there for you. They’ll also proactively check in with you and ensure you’re being well taken care of.
In addition, it’s your manager’s responsibility to inform you when changes are needed in your existing project plans.
This doesn’t happen that often.
However, every now and then, we may encounter an unexpected problem that requires a suitable workaround. In these circumstances, your project manager will explain what’s happened. They may also ask you to formally approve the changes so our work can proceed.
Performing Your Post-Installation Walkthrough
No Apex home exterior project is complete without a post-installation walkthrough. During this walkthrough, your project manager will provide a detailed explanation of all the work that’s been done.
They’ll also answer any questions you have and make sure you’re happy with the final results.

Our Chief Operating Officer (COO). With decades of experience to his credit, he’s our behind-the-scenes secret weapon. Our COO typically spends much of his day tracking the progress of all our current projects.
